As part of our ongoing commitment to client satisfaction, CF Toronto Eaton Centre is working on a vertical transportation project across the shopping centre. The modernization project is a $30M investment to improve the overall visitor experience at CF Toronto Eaton Centre. 

Starting January 15th, 2024 CF Toronto Eaton Centre will commence phase two of our vertical transportation project at the Centre.

This phase will be a multi year project as we work towards the replacement of escalator steps across the property. The first set of escalators will be those adjacent to the fountain on level 1 and our Guest Service desk on level 2.

While these escalators are out of service, directional signage will be in place to highlight the path of travel. Escalators and the stairwell at the south end of the Centre as well as the escalators at the north end of the Centre will remain operational. The escalators are expected to return to service in late May 2024.

There will be Brand Ambassadors and our Guest Service Representatives will be available to assist guests as required between levels 1 and 2.

The result of this transformation will produce a sleek, modernized look and provide guests with alternative access points while reducing wait times for visitors navigating the centre.
